Alix Charles, DPM, PA

Dr. Charles has been working in medicine for over 40 years, of which 20 were spent in Haiti. He first graduated from the State university of Haiti with a diploma in medicine before going on to complete a residency in orthopedics in Haiti and another in accident and hand surgery in Germany. In 2007, he obtained his doctorate of podiatric medicine from Barry University in Miami, Florida. He later completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Larkin Community Hospital. 

While he also accepts most insurance policies including medicare and medicaid, Dr. Charles offers some of the most affordable rates for podiatric services to uninsured patients in South Florida. Dr. Charles sees patients as young as a couple of days old to centenarians. Other than English, Dr. Charles also speaks French, Haitian Creole and Spanish. 

Dr. Charles has been happily married for over 35 years and has five children and six grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Charles likes to go running and support his favorite soccer teams.
